Children in Coachford N.S. can't wait for Christmas time for a variety of reasons including the school's Christmas Concert which is held every year before the holidays. Children prepare for months in advance of the big night. After Christmas children also enjoy  drama within a class environment. Drama is seen as an important aspect of the curriculum and one which the children thoroughly enjoy throughout the year.

We held a Ceolchoirm where each class performed a selection of songs, poems, dances or plays to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge.  We also held a Ceilí and a St. Patrick's Day dress up.
3rd , 4th , 5th and 6th class performed their Christmas Show -
'The Late Wise Man'
Junior infants, Senior infants, 1st and 2nd class perform their Christmas Show
'Lets build a snowman'
'Humph the Camel' performed by junior and senior infants
'A Christmas Swim' performed by 1st and 2nd class
'Alice in Wonderland' performed by 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class.
